The intention is to empower individuals to excel, and increase confidence, so coaching provides this for head teachers and executive school leaders. 

The value of implementing coaching has been evidenced in a number of studies and its impact is evident in:

Instead of providing knowledge on processes, procedures and necessary tasks, the coach asks the employee to self-identify and self-direct towards what's required. The idea is to make the unconscious conscious, as the employee discovers blind spots and opportunities (rather than being told, scolded or critiqued in a particular direction). 


The coach's agenda is to bring about insight - implicit knowledge and understanding - and behavioral change.  My mentoring and managing, you will develop compliance and adherence. To inspire self directed leadership through hearts and minds, then fundamental insight is at the core. This is reached through self exploration and examination.
